Experimenting with Solids

Earlier this month, Tom was doing things like grabbing my plate and pulling it to him at the table, watching me intently with his mouth open while I was eating or drinking anything, and just acting super hungry all the time. We decided that maybe it was time to give him some rice cereal, and Lily had the honor of offering him his first spoonfuls. She was very gentle with him, and he didn't gag once! I don't think Tom was quite sure what to make of the rice cereal at first, but he's getting more used to it now. I think soon we'll see how he likes sweet potatoes.

Wedding finery

Kari and Bruce were married on June 24. Lily was a beautiful flower girl, and had loads of fun wearing her "most beautiful dress." Tom was decked out in black tie as well, but got all worn out after being passed around all afternoon!
