Bike Bandit

Lily is turning into a big girl. After she met a little girl named Sophie at the park last week and got the chance to ride Sophie's little bike, we decided to get one for her. Of course, we got a pink and purple bike, and Lily picked out the helmet emblazoned with the Disney princesses. The first day we had the bike, it took a little getting used to, but now she has mad skills and endurance! She has ridden up to 5 blocks without stopping, and she's only had one wipeout. Luckily, that was mostly on grass, so she was neither too badly injured nor too frightened to get back on the bike. Almost every day, she says either "I want to ride my bicycle" or "I want to go bicycling."

Mr. Stripey

Tom enjoys having the wind on his face and watching the patterns of light when the leaves shift with the breeze. It'll be disappointing when it gets too cold to laze around outside.
